Wellbeing

Head Teacher Wellbeing works in harmony to ensure that students feel supported, safe, and valued in every aspect of their schooling experience. We believe that when students are nurtured physically, emotionally, and socially, their potential for academic and personal growth knows no bounds.

We understand the significance of student mental health and the intrinsic link between wellbeing and academic success. To provide ‘wrap-around’ support, we have forged partnerships with external services and organisations dedicated to student mental health and wellbeing such as Headspace, Lighthouse & Traxside. These collaborative partnerships play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and mentally healthy environment for our students whilst promoting help-seeking and emotional self-regulation behaviours.

Proactive and preventative measures to address student wellbeing are fundamental and have always been at the forefront of all decision making. This has resulted in our Wellbeing Team offering a range of comprehensive wellbeing programs and lessons to our students. Students are offered bespoke, small-group or whole school wellbeing program such as;

  • RAGE

  • Optus Digital Thumbprint

  • Love Bites

  • YAMS

  • Art Therapy

  • Pet Therapy

  • Managing the Bull

  • HSC Study & Stress Workshop

  • Ohana / Haka Warriors Program

Our commitment to student wellbeing goes beyond the classroom, and we strive to create an environment where each student can connect, succeed and thrive. Through the promotion of the school's values platform ‘RISE’ by our Wellbeing Team and whole school staff, we empower our students to become resilient, confident, and engaged learners.

Campbelltown Performing Arts High School is not just a place of learning; it's a place where students truly shine, supported by a dedicated team that cares for their holistic development.
