Languages Other Than English (LOTE)

At Campbelltown Performing Arts High School, every Year 7 student engages in the study of Korean, building skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

Learning a new language opens minds to difference, strengthens literacy, and encourages students to reflect on their own culture while developing respect for the beliefs and values of others.

Through Korean, students gain insight into one of Australia’s key regional partners while also fostering intellectual growth, cultural awareness, and empathy. As they progress, students are empowered to connect more effectively with the global community, developing the communication skills and intercultural understanding that will serve them in a diverse and interconnected world.
